Cross House West was built in the early 1900s. Since then, it has been fully renovated,
extended and improved to make it warm, comfortable, spacious and homely. Life in the house
is centred round the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area.
There are comfortable couches and a large, farm-house dining table. There is also
an open fire with a large supply of logs.
Upstairs there's an attic television room, if you feel you need to escape, or fancy a
change of scenery. The room has a comfortable double futon and a wide-screen television.
When you arrive, our house-keeper will be there to greet you and to show you around.
All guests are supplied with a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, biscuits
and cooking essentials. If you would like us to provide you with further supplies,
this can be arranged.
Naturally, we provide linen and towels, soaps, bubble bath and shower gel.
And in the kitchen, you'll find washing powder, dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid,
cloths and towels.
All heating, lighting and cooking gas is provided and there are logs for the open fire.
Finally, we respectfully request that guests do not smoke inside the house.
